Buzza and the Reckless Insanity | The 101 Brewhouse + Distillery
Nov 22, 2024 (UTC-8)ENDED
Gibsons
Buzza and the Reckless Insanity is an outlaw country band that roared onto the scene in 2023, bringing a wild and unrestrained energy to every show. Known for their chaotic, booze-fueled performances, they've quickly built a reputation for keeping honky-tonk crowds dancing and drinking all night long.
Fronted by Colin McGillivray on vocals and acoustic guitar, the band is powered by the searing electric guitar of Jesse Morrissey, the thundering bass of Gary Smith, and the relentless rhythm of James Law on drums. Their sound blends classic outlaw country with hard-hitting southern rock, delivering rowdy anthems that celebrate the reckless spirit of the open road and late-night barroom brawls. Unapologetically raucous and always unpredictable, Buzza and the Reckless Insanity are a band built for the outlaws at heart.

PETUNIA & THE VIPERS Live at the Gibsons Legion | Royal Canadian Legion Branch 109 Gibsons BC
Apr 26, 2024 (UTC-8)ENDED
Gibsons
Get ready for an unforgettable night of amazing music as PETUNIA & THE VIPERS take the stage at the Gibsons Legion. Described as a unique blend of hillbilly-flavoured swing, inflected ragtime, and thunderously rolling goodtime tunes, this band is a must-see. Their sound, often likened to a mix of Hank Williams on acid and Tom Waits meeting Elvis at Woody Guthrie’s Hobo junction, is truly one-of-a-kind. With elements of avant-country and a nod to the 1920s and steam punk eras, Petunia & The Vipers offer a music experience that transcends genres and captivates audiences worldwide.
Louis Armstrong once said that his favorite kind of music was simply "Good music," and Petunia & the Vipers embody just that. Their music springs off the sounds of the past and lands firmly in the present day, leaving echoes of nostalgia in its wake. Join us at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 109 in Gibsons, BC, on April 26, 2024, for a night that promises to be nothing short of extraordinary.
