Each wāhine/girl that participates in a WGRT Camp can expect to be welcomed to a supportive environment where she will make new friends and teammates. She will learn basic aspects of the game of rugby Sevens and then be able to put them to use in a fun series of games over the afternoon. We will be running junior and senior session's seperate but alongside one another, and will keep the age grades seperate for the games as well. Caring and qualified coaches will lead a structured and fun day where girls build confidence and learn the game of Sevens in a safe and inclusive environment. Coaching staff will demonstrate how fueling the mind and body helps us grow, and the coaches will empower the girls to reach their potential through sport. Girls will benefit from seeing and receiving guidance and instruction from other female players that have played in various levels of the game. If they can see it, they can be it!
