Join Laura from Colourful Minds and friends for some creative play at Sketchbook Club every month at Kiln Workshop. Each month we'll explore a material and technique to fill up your sketchbook in new ways. This course is a great starting point for anyone new to bike mechanics. Our fully qualified tutors teach the essentials in a clear, jargon-free way. You’ll leave feeling confident to keep your bike running safely and smoothly. Course content Our five-hour course covers: A simple overview of bike design. Setting up your bike for comfort and efficiency. Cleaning and lubricating your bike. Essential safety checks. Fixing a puncture. Setting up brakes. Setting up gears. You must be aged 18 or over to attend this course. If you're 16-18 you can attend with written permission from a parent. Please get in touch before booking. Bring your bike! You will learn loads of new sewing skills and at the end of the workshop leave with a cool sling bag handmade by you and the skills to make more. You will learn how to: Thread a sewing machine Sew basic seams/ sew a zip Pin and cut fabric Follow sewing instructions Learn how to use a sewing machine and sewing tools safely Suitable for beginners or those wantng to build confidence.
