Join Laura from Colourful Minds and friends for some creative play at Sketchbook Club every month at Kiln Workshop.
Each month we'll explore a material and technique to fill up your sketchbook in new ways.

This course is a great starting point for anyone new to bike mechanics. Our fully qualified tutors teach the essentials in a clear, jargon-free way. You’ll leave feeling confident to keep your bike running safely and smoothly.
Course content
Our five-hour course covers:
A simple overview of bike design.
Setting up your bike for comfort and efficiency.
Cleaning and lubricating your bike.
Essential safety checks.
Fixing a puncture.
Setting up brakes.
Setting up gears.
You must be aged 18 or over to attend this course. If you're 16-18 you can attend with written permission from a parent. Please get in touch before booking.
Bring your bike!
You’ll be able to work on your own bike, if it’s in reasonable working condition. To arrive fully prepared, please read the ‘how is it taught?’ section in our FAQs below.

Learn how to sew a fashionable sling bag from a choice of fabrics, perect for the upcoming festival season!
You will learn loads of new sewing skills and at the end of the workshop leave with a cool sling bag handmade by you and the skills to make more.
You will learn how to:
Thread a sewing machine
Sew basic seams/ sew a zip
Pin and cut fabric
Follow sewing instructions
Learn how to use a sewing machine and sewing tools safely
Suitable for beginners or those wantng to build confidence.
This is a beginner level workshop but you will need to know your way around a sewing machine or have completed our Level 1 Let's Get sewing Workshop.
