Game Theory VII - Breaking Competition | St. Martin's United Church
Cultural Experiences
We are hosting the 7th Game Theory this year which will showcase battles from some of the best Breaking artists across Canada and performances from local street dance collectives. We hope these performances from seasoned street dance artists will inspire the next generation of Saskatchewan artists to continue growing the scene and to develop their potential. This year is different than the rest as this is the first time we are doing a B-girl category in the prairies.
There will be live music from Doomgurl (Toronto ON) and Surplus (Saskaton SK) as well as food and local vendors on-site.

HoneyWillowCreations
Honey River (they/them) is Plains Cree from Sturgeon Lake First Nation. They are a Two Spirit artist, Indigenous archaeologist, and heritage educator of Honey Willow nêhiyaw Studio. Honey Willow is for anyone on a reconciliation journey, focusing on beadwork and initiatives that honour Indigenous heritage and community care.
**FAQ: "Am I 'allowed' to buy/wear beadwork if I'm not Indigenous?"** Yes! All of Honey Willow’s beadwork is for everyone who needs a reminder of how powerful they are. When you purchase from Honey Willow, you are supporting a local Indigenous artist who hand-makes each item with good thoughts and intentions. Honey River always recommends buying directly from Indigenous artists or *reputable* businesses that honour their Indigenous artists.

Osteopath:
Osteopath service provided by Medhavi & Taryn inside the chapel behind the event hall and is by donation.
There is no appointment bookings for this, just walk-ins and is first-come first-serve.
About Taryn:
Taryn Javier’s path to osteopathy began through contemporary dance and early mentorship with Austrian choreographer Johannes Randolf, sparking a deep interest in movement, the GYROKINESIS®️ Method, and osteopathy. After two decades, plus a career as a flight attendant she returned to her passion and graduated from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy’s first West Campus class in Calgary. Taryn brings a dynamic, movement-informed approach to her manual osteopathic practice, seeing it as a living, responsive art and science. When she’s not treating patients downtown, you’ll find her in the skies, dancing, or connecting with loved ones, always learning, always moving.
About Medhavi:
Medhavi’s fascination with the human body began in childhood through her love of sports and movement. Personal experiences with chronic pain led her to discover the power of osteopathic care, inspiring her to pursue a career in the field. With a background in kinesiology, five years as a personal trainer, and osteopathic training at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy, she offers a thoughtful, patient-centered approach. Medhavi is committed to lifelong learning and creates a calm, supportive space for healing, helping patients move through pain, injury, or imbalance with care and confidence.
