Pistons in the Park | Skellingthorpe Playing Field and Pavilion "The Monson"
Jul 19, 2025 (UTC+1)
Gleghorn-South Kilgore Township
Join us this summer on Saturday 19th July 2025 for Pistons in the Park, a celebration of all things automotive – from timeless classics and sleek sports cars to rare supercars and truly head-turning machines. The event will run from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at The Monson, Skellingthorpe Playing Field on Lincoln Road, Skellingthorpe, Lincoln, LN6 5UT.
Whether you’re a lifelong car enthusiast or just looking for a fun day out with family and friends, this promises to be a fantastic community event. Expect a vibrant mix of vehicles, great company, and a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. We’re also in the works of arranging some tasty food vendors to keep everyone fuelled throughout the afternoon and into the evening.
Importantly, this event is a fundraiser for our local Skellingthorpe Scouts, who are working hard to raise money for a new roof for their community venue. All profits of the event will go directly towards the Scouts.
We’re hoping for sunshine, roaring engines, and a field full of smiles — so come along, support the Scouts, and enjoy an unforgettable afternoon of cars, community, and good vibes!
We are currently welcoming sponsors and local partners to support this one-off event — a great opportunity to get involved with the community, promote your business, and help make a real difference. If you're interested in sponsoring or supporting the event in any way, we'd love to hear from you.
If you have any questions or queries, please don't hesitate to contact us...

Networking is all about building up relationships. When you make a purchasing decision, quite often people look at the recommendations of others who have already purchased before they buy and networking works on the same basis. Get to know the people in your group, find out about them and their businesses and explore how you can collaborate and help each other out.
There are plenty of opportunities to network with 60 groups in the UK and 5 national online only groups within WIBN and our social media platforms have a reach of over 40,000.
Come along and see what WIBN networking is all about. We don’t pressure you into joining but we will assure you of a warm welcome and some great connections.
Here’s what some of our visitors have said:-
• I really enjoyed yesterday. Much more than I thought I would if I’m honest! You are all so knowledgeable and insightful. It’s all so new to me and it’s great to feel I’m in the company of those who are experienced in business in the ways you all are.
• I’ve never done anything like this in my 25 years of business, only training courses, I love the way the lockdown has encouraged us to stretch out a bit and take new pathways.
• Networking is a long term investment, and the rewards are priceless - both from a work and personal perspective.
You don’t have to be part of a corporate business to benefit from networking, we have a wide variety of business women in the network. Some members are employed by businesses whilst others run their own. Some are full time, some part time and all sorts of professions are represented.
We would love to meet you and hear about what you do so please do take the plunge and book in a visit!
