Wild Camp Experience Join us for an unforgettable adventure on our Wild Camp Experience with food provided by Wild Gourmet NI from Saturday, June 14 to Sunday June 15 2025. . Get ready to experience the freedom of sleeping under the stars in the middle of the Mourne Mountains. A wild camp is a great way to do a bit of re-wilding and get back to nature. We will hike into camp and set up our home for the night. Dinner will provided by Wild Gourmet NI – homemade beef stroganoff (with lentil veggie option) and garlic bread cooked on the fire with homemade chocolate brownies for afters with chocolate sauce made freshly made at camp!!! Yum Yum! We will relax by the camp fire in the evening where we can all sit around and have a bit of craic over a hot chocolate, toasted marshmallows and s’mores. After a night tucked up in a cosy tent with only the tranquil sounds of the mountain around us we will then rustle up fresh breakfast rolls with maple cured bacon and Cumberland sausage(veggie option available) with a warming tea or coffee to wake us up. What a way to start the day! LEAVE NO TRACE **All our experiences support the principles of the Leave No Trace Policy. Our campfires are always contained within a fire pit and protected with a fire blanket to ensure the ground is not damaged. We have 2 options for this experience; you can provide your own camping gear, or we can provide tent and sleeping mat, rucksack & Sleeping bag. This is based on 1 person per tent. Please advise if you wish to share a tent as we have limited number of 2 man tent available. You will be required to carry all of your own gear including the food package we provide for you. It wont be a long hike but be mindful of only packing essentials to keep you weight down. We will then set up camp.. don't worry, we will do this together - its always good craic putting up tents lol. You will be provided with your own food package at the start to put in your rucksack. Of course, there are lots of people that join our events on their own, it won’t be long until you are making new mountain mates! Tents are based on 1 person per tent. We have a limited amount of 2 person tents so if you are coming with a friend it would be ideal if you could share. Please advise this at time of booking. Completing your activity on a rescheduled date 2. Receive a full refund. IF YOU CANCEL: If you notify us with over 14 days notice of the event start date credit will be given that you can use against other events. Within 14 days notice of an event there is no credit given and we do not offer exchanges/transfer of your ticket onto another event. Please note: Due to the nature of the events we provide and the environments these take place in, hikes will not be cancelled simply because of bad weather. However they will be cancelled by us if bad weather deems the event dangerous. In this instance we will get in touch to notify you. Hikes are subject to minimum group numbers being reached.
