Megan Linford Portsmouth folk/country artist of the year Megan Linford is a musician whose calming, heartfelt sound is perfect for any audience. With ten years of performing under her belt, she has a deep understanding of the beauty of folk music, and her unique style is sure to inspire you. In addition to writing her own music, Megan promotes and hosts monthly folk nights in her hometown of Portsmouth, providing a warm, welcoming environment for musicians to share their love of the folk and roots sounds. Rob Johnston Rob Johnston is a unique guitarist who blends his brilliant technique with different playing styles and influences. He is part of an evolving tradition of acoustic guitar playing drawing on a classical background as well as world and folk roots. His guitar compositions and songs explore unusual musical territory always evading comparison or familiarity. Rob has played at major acoustic festivals and Art centres and has performed live on BBC radio several times. Mia Nicholls Mia Nicholls is an emerging 23-year-old singer/songwriter from the South East of England. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Alice Phoebe Lou, Laura Marling and Lana Del Rey, Mia remains fluid in genre and music production, with her rich, soothing vocal remaining at the forefront of her work.
