Welcome to the Scottish Simulation SIMPosium 2025 , where this year’s theme, “Simulation Amplified: Expanding Reach, Scaling Impact,” highlights the transformative potential of simulation in healthcare education and research. This in-person event will take place on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 , at the Suttie Centre for Teaching & Learning in Healthcare . The SIMPosium will feature a diverse program of keynote addresses , short presentations , panel interviews , and poster presentations , designed to inspire and connect the simulation community. Join us for Aberlour's Shorts and Shades ASN Disco ! Get ready to groove and have a blast at this fun-filled event happening at Airyhall Primary School . The disco is open to all children aged 16 and under with additional support needs, their siblings and families in Aberdeen. Join us on August 1, 2025 at 6:00 PM for a night of dancing, laughter, and unforgettable memories. There will be a DJ, food and snacks, a bouncy castle and a quiet sensory room away from the music. Our theme is "shorts and shades" so don't forget to come dressed in your coolest shorts and sunglasses! Tickets cost £10 for the first child and an additional £5 for each sibling. All young people must be accompanied by an adult throughout the event. A live music based fun night aimed at a generous corporate audience at Aberdeen’s best small live music venue – The Tunnels in our 20th year Anniversary. This is a gig with both bars open in both Tunnel 1 and 2 with limited seating capacity but plenty of room to dance.
