The Beatles' "Revolver" live and complete plus the best of Badfinger | College of San Mateo Theatre
Jul 18, 2025 (UTC-7)
San Mateo
The Beatles' "Revolver" live and complete plus the best of Badfinger., performed by an all-star cast.
The Beatles' "Revolver" live and complete.
"A veritable goldmine…”—Melody Maker, July 30, 1966
"This is a brilliant album which underlines once and for all that the Beatles have definitely broken the bounds of what we used to call pop."--NME, July 29, 1966
"The best album the Beatles ever made, which means the best album by anybody" --Rolling Stone Album Guide, 2005
"They introduce whole new vistas of sound”--London Daily Telegraph, September 7, 2009
“The Greatest Album in History”--VH1, 2001
Named by just about everyone as one of the greatest-if not THE GREATEST-albums ever made, Keith Putney Productions continues its series of Beatles album shows with Revolver live and complete,
plus the best of Badfinger as we celebrate Joey Molland.
Entertainment Weekly named in #1 in their 2013 list of “All Time Greatest Albums”, Q magazine named it number one on their list of the “50 Greatest British Albums Ever”, and Collin Larkin ranked it first in his 1994 book “All Time Top 1000 Albums”.
The breadth and depth of Revolver’s musical mix eclipses the greatest hits of any recording artists save the Beatles themselves. Taxman, Eleanor Rigby, I’m Only Sleeping, Love You To, Here, There and Everywhere, Yellow Submarine, She Said She Said, Good Day Sunshine, And Your Bird Can Sing, For No One, Doctor Robert, I Want To Tell You, Got to Get You Into My Life, and Tomorrow Never Knows make up the complete list.
Our cast…
LAURENCE JUBER is the former lead guitarist from Paul McCartney and Wings. A two-time Grammy Award winner, his sublime work is recognized by Guitar World for “A stunning sense of space and fluidity…a truly wondrous sound" . Pete Townshend has called him "A Master!", Guitar Player chimes in that "The melodies, textures and harmonies he coaxes out of an acoustic guitar are spellbinding" and Acoustic Guitar magazine named his "LJ Plays the Beatles " album one of their ten best of all time. He has over thirty solo albums to his credit, three years with Wings, and work on soundtracks as varied as "Dirty Dancing", "Pocahontas" and "Good Will Hunting".“
JOHN JORGENSON co-founded country-rock act The Desert Rose Band in the 1980's with Herb Pederson and the Byrds' Chris Hillman, and during that time , Jorgenson won the Academy of Country Music’s “Guitarist of the Year” award three consecutive years. Sought out by Bonnie Raitt, Bob Seger and Barbra for studio work, Elton John saw fit to add John to his band for 5 years. Mandolin, mandocello, Dobro, pedal steel, piano, upright bass, clarinet, bassoon, and saxophone are among the other instruments JJ has mastered.
Musical Director JEFF ALAN ROSS spent two years as the lead singer of Badfinger, and for 17 years has been the Musical Director for industry legend Peter Asher in the Peter and Gordon Band, Asher's Memoir Show, and countless recording projects. He sings lead alongside Asher in his current band, and his history includes stints with Gerry and the Pacemakers, Denny Laine, Al Jardine and other legends. Jeff plays, Piano, keyboard, and guitar.
BILL CINQUE toured for 5 years as bass player in the Neil Diamond Band. The Manfreds (ie Manfred Mann) Melissa Manchester, Peter Asher, and a host of others have featured Bill on lead vocals as well as bass.
Drummer CHRISTOPHER ALLIS toured Mike Nesmith's First National Band, and has backed Deanna Carter, Denny Laine, Billy J Kramer, Melissa Manchester, Maria Muldaur, Kate Taylor, Jeremy Clyde, The Byrds' John York, and Fran Healy from Travis among others.
Guitarist DAVID BLASUCCI ‘s gig credits include Bobby Kimball (TOTO), Melissa Manchester, Bo Diddley, Badfinger, Little Anthony and countless others. Rod Stewart, Hootie and the Blowfish and the Eagles’ Glenn Frey are among those who have called on David to open for them.
