Get ahead and book a fun morning out for the summer holidays! Based on a small countryside home yard in Brockhall, Northamptonshire. Whether you are looking to come along in a group, or to have some sensory one-on-one creative time with your child, everyone is welcome. This particular pottery workshop will be focusing on making a plaque/tile or set of smaller tiles. Materials such as flowers & foliage, shells, pine cones, stamps, different shaped cutters, and other materials will be available to create designs. The children will be encouraged to get creative and use their imagination, to create a piece that is unique to them. Lots of texture material will be supplied to inspire the children, but if you would like to have a forage around your garden or in the woods beforehand for any leaves, flowers and organic objects to press into the clay please feel free to bring it along. Tile/Plaque UsesName plaques are ideal for bedroom door signs. The plaque doesn’t have to include a name, it could be personalised with a favourite quote, line from a song, a date, or simply decorated as a piece of hanging wall art. How many pieces?The session will focus on creating one main piece, but if your child has time left at the end, they are more than welcome to make more, or lots of extra smaller pieces. The amount of clay provided will be unlimited.
