This year's league kicks off with three thrilling qualifying rounds across the Gold Coast's bouldering gyms: Core Climbing: July 5thAlpine Indoor Climbing (Currumbin): July 26thCutloose Indoor Climbing: August 9thIn each qualifier, you'll have all day to send your hardest 10 climbs (flashes worth extra) from the gym's existing boulder set, with points accumulated to determine your ranking. Grand FinalThe top 6 female and top 6 male climbers from the Open Category, with the highest accumulated points will earn their spot in the Grand Final at Alpine Currumbin on August 30th! Explore the street art of Downtown Boulder with Street Wise Arts! We cover murals created by local and national artists during our annual mural festival. Learn more about our organization, street art culture, and the various social justice causes championed by Street Wise artists. Bonus: many murals are activated in augmented reality and we'll show you how to bring them to life. Walking tours run for approx. 2 hours and cover about 1.5-2 miles. We begin our tour at the exterior mural at Creature Comforts Cafe. Participants receive 10% at Creature Comforts when they show their tour ticket! Registration required. Your ticket purchase helps us fund community projects, youth programs, and the organization's mission. We appreciate your support! Join us for a morning of poetry with Adrie Kusserow. Vermont Humanities will cover the entry fee for the park, so feel free to explore the wilderness after the event. Adrie Kusserow is a cultural anthropologist and poet, the author of three books of poetry (REFUGE and Hunting Down the Monk published by BOA Editions, Ltd, New American Poets Series) and recently, THE TRAUMA MANTRAS: A Memoir in Prose Poems (Duke University Press, 2024), as well as an ethnography American Individualisms (Palgrave MacMillan, Culture, Mind and Society Series). She has taught at St. Michael’s College since 1996 where she is currently Chair of the Department of Sociology and Anthropology. She was born and raised in Underhill, Vermont and now lives on the land she grew up on. Most of her anthropological humanitarian work, research and field work is on refugee health and resettlement. She has worked with refugees for over two decades internationally and locally in Vermont, from South Sudan, Bhutan, Nepal, Somalia, Tanzania, the Congo and Afghanistan. She is currently on the Board of Trustees at the Vermont Afghan Alliance and is a co-founder, (along with the Lost Boys of Sudan resettled in Vermont) of Africa Education and Leadership Initiative: Bridging Gender Gaps Through Education (www.africaeli.org) which supports refugee girls education in East Africa.

4th Annual Boulder Fine Art Street Festival at Twenty Ninth Street | Twenty Ninth Street

Boulder is an artsy, eclectic haven located in the foothills of Denver, just 30 miles northwest of Denver and Twenty Ninth Street is located in the middle of this pristine setting. Twenty Ninth Street is at Highway 36 between Arapahoe and Pearl Street close to Downtown Boulder. The festival features local and national artists and fine crafters all displaying their handmade work in a safe, outdoor environment.
