Triple Crown Throwdown | United Strangers Corner Store
Jul 5, 2025 (UTC-7)
North Vancouver
RIDE DESCRIPTION
Join us for the
Triple Crown Throwdown
, where we'll conquer all three North Shore mountains in one glorious, quad-burning day. Expect long road climbs, stunning views, fast descents, and plenty of team spirit. We’ll wrap things up at a The Shed Coffee Bar Pizza on the descent to share stories and toast the day (drinks + eats sponsored by Liv Cycling Canada!)
ROUTE
~110km | ~2,400m elevation | 100% road
We’ll hit
Seymour
,
Grouse (via Mountain Highway)
, and
Cypress
, with some city spins and seawall stretches between the big efforts. Final route GPX will be sent closer to the date based on weather, road conditions, and legs of the ride leaders.
PACE + PREP
We’ll be aiming for a steady pace on the climbs, with regroups at the summits and base of each mountain. The rides between the mountains won't be a sufferfest, but we also don't have time to dawdle! This ride is best suited for folks who’ve comfortably completed long days in the saddle, and
have completed at least Seymour or Cypress.
If you’re unsure, shoot us a message and we’ll chat!
Liv Cycling Canada will be along for the ride, joining us at some of the summits with refreshments (please do not rely on these for fuel!)
Drop bars and clipless pedals mandatory!
What to bring:
Plenty of snacks and fuel for an ~8hr ride (packable carbs and electrolytes)
Two full bottles (there are spots to refill water along the way)
A jacket and maybe gloves for the descents
Tools + flat kit to be self-sufficient
A bike computer or phone mount to follow the route
OTHER NOTES
We may reschedule if the forecast looks gnarly - final call will be made a few days prior.
If you RSVP but can’t make it, let us know early so we can offer your spot to someone else.
All riders will need to sign a waiver - link to come closer to the date.
Let’s get it - three peaks, one day, big energy.
