Horatio's Garden Wales Private Tour | Horatio's Garden Wales
Jul 1, 2025 (UTC+1)
Llandough
An opportunity to visit Horatio’s Garden Wales for a private tour. Every Horatio’s Garden is created by a leading designer and rarely open to the public. This tour offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the restorative garden and learn more about its key design features and style, the benefits of horticultural therapy and the impact of gardens on wellbeing.
Horatio’s Garden Wales was designed by award-winning, three-time RHS Chelsea Flower Show Gold Medal winner Sarah Price, renowned for her artistic, naturalistic planting style in such projects as the Olympic Park and a garden at Manchester’s Whitworth Gallery.
Visit us in July for bursts of color from salvias, geraniums, and lavender fill the garden, framed by airy seed heads from grasses swaying in the breeze.

CLOSURE CABARET | MARIA ANSDELL | SE15 1TR
Jul 23, 2025 (UTC+0)
Penarth
Distinguished guests, sweethearts and scoundrels, dreamers and ghosters, welcome. Tonight, your ever-optimistic emcee Razmatastic (Maria Ansdell’s semi-autobiographical, French-accented alter ego) invites you to share the saga of her love life and the twisted world of modern dating. Set in an imaginary cabaret, we see a lifetime of caricatured exes brought to the stage for their very final performance - all in pursuit of that magical, fix-all solution: closure. From Billy the Playground Pirate to dangerous cowboy ‘Ol Smokey Joe and poet extraordinaire Lazarus Velour, Razmatastic investigates and interrogates the figures she once loved so deeply. With a healthy dose of audience participation, spectators become integral to how these cabaret acts unfold. As the night continues and the heartbreakers grow more outrageous, she gradually sheds her comic bravado to expose the truths lurking beneath the laughter. A vaudevillian spoof and emotional exorcism in one, hold on tight as we try to let go; at the Closure Cabaret, we summon the spirits of our romantic misadventures, and dance on the ashes of love lost and longed for.

MILLWALL JEW: EDINBURGH PREVIEW | IVOR DEMBINA | SE15 1TR

Penarth
'MILLWALL JEW'
WITH IVOR DEMBINA
Friday, 19th July | 9pm'One day I got sick of people assuming that because I am a Jew I support Tottenham Hotspur''Millwall Jew' is a comedy show about how, at the age of 71, a south London Jewish comedian decided to swear allegiance to his nearest local football club, Millwall F.C.
Ivor Dembina is the UK's favourite and funniest Jewish stand-up comic, and he returns to the PEN to celebrate the birth of 'Millwall Jew' at the same venue where it was born. He's on his way, with the show, to this year's Edinburgh Festival where, over the years, he has already collected an armful of four-star and five-star reviews and an Editor's Pick of the Fringe Award.
What better place to celebrate than at south London's most exciting fringe theatre, the PEN? Its not only where 'Millwall Jew' was first performed, but, appropriately enough, the venue stands right in the shadow of Millwall F.C.'s home ground, The Den.
