Captain Noah with the Old American Songs
Perfect for a summer’s evening, this concert will be a mix of light and rhythmical music and will include Aaron Copland’s ‘Old American Songs’ and ‘Captain Noah and his Floating Zoo’ by composer, Joseph Horovitz.
The choir, accompanied on the piano, will be led by their Musical Director, Jonathan Kingston. A Baritone soloist and young singers from Warriner School will perform alongside the choir for ‘Captain Noah’. St Mary’s Church, Banbury will provide the perfect acoustics and setting for this selection of music for a summer’s evening.

Maria Huff has lived in & around Banbury for over 20 years, variously involved in Quakers, Friends of the Earth, Community Action Groups, Extinction Rebellion and the Banbury Acting Together network during that time - and loves having supportive and positive conversations about sustainability, and how we as people need to find our way to it. She's an IT Manager by profession, with a love of fixing and recycling things.
Venue Accessibility
Accessibility: There is one step in the main entrance to the White Horse. There is step free access via the side lane (on the left as you look from the road), and a back gate on your right. Disabled parking right outside the pub.
Food: there is no food served at the White Horse at the moment, you can bring your own, or order food in if you want.
