History Usui Reiki is the original Reiki system, and you'll be initiated into an unbroken lineage dating back to Dr. Usui himself, which includes Hawayo Takata, the first woman to be attuned to the healing energy. This system's full name is Reiki; I will be teaching it is Usui Teat. My training will, combine the modern Westernised system of Reiki with the ancient Japanese traditional system, which is now considered one of the oldest since many new offsprings of Reiki have evolved. Completing Level 1 will give you a firm foundation to start your healing journey. Usui Reiki level one is the first of three levels (or degrees as they are sometimes called). About the Event Whether you’re craving peace or stimulation, feeling overwhelmed or a lack of motivation – nature has a way of reducing sensory overload, whilst offering a gentle, but dynamic environment that can help to regulate our emotional and physical restlessness. Taking place in the beautiful Cannon Hill Park, this workshop will facilitate an environment where you can expect to Understand the role of nature in balancing our emotional and sensory inner world Be introduced to embodied practices, channelling your senses, bodies and creativity as practical tools for regulation in an overwhelming world Connect more deeply with yourself, others and the natural world What to expect from Wild Remedy We will open the space with a grounding meditation to more deeply connect with yourself and with nature, blurring the boundaries between ourselves and the more-than-human world. There will be lots of space for reflection facilitated though writing prompts, discussion and creative activities. 5K Pink Walk on Sunday 19 October 2025 and help Imran Khan Cancer Appeal (IKCA) save lives. Breast Cancer Awareness Month is an excellent opportunity to raise awareness for this important subject. The purpose of Breast Cancer Awareness Month is to raise awareness about breast cancer. Let's get together and continue to make a difference throughout the year, not just in October. We understand how vital it was for you to get out, stay active, and stay connected during the pandemic. We want to encourage people who are new to fitness to get started, as well as those who are looking for a physical challenge to stay active. Please remember that the 5K Pink Walk uses shared paths. For the continued success of the event, please give way to other park users. We do multiple laps of park on firm tarmac paths. Introducing Dungeons and Dragons - A Beginner Friendly One-Shot! This standalone session of Dungeons and Dragons is perfectly designed for those with very little or no Dungeons and Dragons experience, but also adaptable for those with more experience. Our in house Dungeon Master will carefully curate an adventure for your table ability, all within the comforts of a board game cafe. Our sessions our split into a Beginners Table, and a Played Before Table. Beginners is perfect for those who have never played, or any played a handful of times. Played Before is perfect for those looking to explore more of a challenge, and slightly higher level character sheets. Beginner Table - Level 3 Character Sheet Played Before Table - Level 5 Character Sheet For those building their character, please stick mostly to 5e content, but as long as your homebrew content isn't broken, we're happy to roll with it. We do also have some pre-done character sheets available if you'd like to keep things zero prep. If you'd like to have made your own character sheet but don't know where to start, feel free to email chloe@thedoublesix.co.uk and we can help put something together for you. Your Dungeon Master can also help with your sheet on the day. These sessions are suitable for anyone 12 years or older. Please note that anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult at our venue past 9pm. Any adults supervising under 18's do not need to buy a ticket. In the instance where the total of sold tickets is one table worth, the tables will be combined.
