Rachel star of Live at the Apollo and co-host of All Killa No Filla, is arenowned stand up and (“rock’n’roll star of British Comedy” Rolling Stone). She’s bringing not only her (“Bright, brave and bitterly enjoyable”The Skinny) stand-up comedy out on the road but also some brand-newcharacters along for the ride. Creative Caminito Argentine Tango Music & Dance Fun Day in West Totton! | West Totton Centre

We are delighted to be funded by Culture in Common & the Arts Council for this event. This is a one day event only designed to give amateur musicians & semi-pros the opportunity to play, dance and listen to Argentine tango music. Tango is a wonderful creative universe that is not well-known in the Uk. This event aims to bring music and dance amateurs together to create community and have a fun day in this artistic genre!
The music teachers will be Mirek Salmon (bandoneon) and Carola Hengstenberg (violin), who direct the Bristol Community Tango Orchestra, will run the tango orchestra rehearsal from 10 - 3pm, and will be providing the live music performance set at 5:30pm.
Tracie Gooch from Southampton, who runs the dance school Tracie's Latin Club will be giving a beginners dance class (4 - 5pm)to share a glimpse into the beautiful dance!

Come and join us for a pay as you go weekly session with your under 5’s. Sessions will involve listening to stories, singing songs, natural crafts, learning and discovering wildlife, walking round the nature reserve.
Suitable for babies and toddlers.
Please wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather.

She was a Roundhouse Poetry Slam finalist, before she joined the Roundhouse Poetry Collective and subsequently spent a year as Roundhouse Resident Artist.

Laurie was the winner of The Moth Poetry Prize & was shortlisted for The Sylvia Plath, Bridport & Forward Poetry Prize.
