The City of Stirling and WA Comedy are providing a launching pad for WA’s best new comedian. Next Gen Comedy is a competition based on audience vote, meaning we’re leaving it up to the people to decide which WA comedians’ career is going to the next level. “Winning Next Gen was a surreal experience. Being so new to the Perth comedy scene, it amazes me how friendly and supportive the whole scene is here. Winning this has made me feel like I’ve established myself as an act here in Perth, and I can’t wait to see what doors it’ll open for me.” – Ian Burke (2024 winner) WHERE AND WHEN? The Grand Final will be held at Stirling Leisure Centres – Hamersley on Saturday June 28 at 7pm. Grand Final Contestants: TBC Our special Outdoor Pop-up bar and food vendors will kick things off from 6pm. 18 + only THE PRIZE? · $1500 inc GST Prize money on behalf of the City of Stirling to help you with your comedy career and professional development.
