Retreat Day for Pre-Teen Females and Their Female Caregivers
Date:
Sunday, 8th June
Time:
10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Location:
The Heated Tipi, Spire & Spoke, Watlington
Join us for a special retreat day designed for pre-teens (ages 9-early teens) and their mamas or female caregivers. This is a unique opportunity to nurture a positive relationship with periods from the very start, empowering our girls (and us older women too!) to feel confident and supported as they navigate changes and learn to work with our incredible bodies and their cycles.
Facilitated by Tara Ghosh and Esther Abrey, this retreat will help foster a sense of ease and understanding about the physical and emotional transformations of puberty. Together, we’ll create a safe and welcoming space to embrace these changes with confidence and compassion.
What to Expect:
During the day, we will explore meeting together in circle, exploring movement practices, cycle education, and creative expression. You’ll come away knowing a little bit more about your incredible body and hormones, while also exploring tools and techniques to support your well-being – for both mamas and our younger ladies.
All of this will unfold under the twinkling canopy of the beautiful tipi, overlooking the cows and fields, nestled in the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. A communal feast will also be shared during the retreat.
Who Can Attend?
This retreat is open to pre-teen girls aged 9-early teens and their mums or female caregivers. Everyone is welcome, regardless of whether periods have started or not.
Why Attend?
Times of transition can be challenging, but it’s also a beautiful opportunity to bond and build confidence. This retreat will help create a strong foundation for a positive, empowering experience as we navigate these changes together.
