Bake Your Own Bagels
Join us for a fun-filled evening of bagel baking at our cozy venue in Hove! Whether you're a seasoned baker or a complete novice, this hands-on event is perfect for anyone who loves fresh, homemade bagels.
During this interactive session, you'll learn the art of making bagels from scratch. We will guide you through the entire process, from mixing and kneading the dough to shaping and boiling the bagels. We'll also pause in the baking process to enjoy a simple vegetarian soup based supper.
Don't worry if you've never baked before – this event is all about having fun and learning together. Grab your friends or come solo and make new friends while you knead and shape the dough. Get ready to roll up your sleeves, put on an apron, and dive into the world of bagel baking!

life drawing
! Get your creative juices flowing and explore the human form in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Whether you're an experienced artist or a beginner, this event is open to all skill levels.
Drawing starts at 7pm so please arrive early to grab a drink, a seat and any art materials you need.
Materials
There will be some drawing boards and some art supplies provided, however, please feel free to bring your own.
About the tickets
Early bird tickets are available up until 3 days before each event.
We always keep 2 tickets on the door (first come first serve) £10 cash only.
We want art to be accsessible to everyone, so If you have a low income backgound and would really love to come please message us on instagram for a discount code.

Olive oil is at the heart of Mediterranean cooking, and appears in many of the classic breads of the region. In this workshop you will learn to make a couple of different olive oil enriched breads; from focaccia to grissini, we'll look at how best to work with this kind of dough, and how to form these different breads. Suitable for novices and those with baking experience. You will receive a light supper, recipes, and bread to take home.

Workshops are open to women of all backgrounds.
How do you take up space? What do you need to say no to?
This three part series will explore South Asian feminist poetics through creative artistic methods. These workshops offer space for self exploration, creative expression and community building.
There will be opportunities to contribute to an exhibition at the Phoenix Art Space and a corresponding zine.
Space : Poetry and Collage

How to you take up space? What does this represent? Join Manjot Dhaliwal and Amie Rai for a workshop that will feature poetry and collage that explores space. Expect to craft your own poetry based collage. There will also be an opportunity to contribute to a collaborative collage that will feature at an exhibition at the Phoenix Art Space.
Refusal: Poetry and Print Making
Saturday July 7th 1pm- 4pm
Join Saj Fareed for a lino print making session that will look at the idea of refusal and resistance. What do you need to say no to? How do you express resistance. Join Saj Fareed for this empowering workshop that will feature a poetic exploration of textiles. Expect to explore the idea of belonging using colour and pattern to facilitate self expression. There will be opportunities to create your own pieces and to contribute to a collaborative piece that will feature at our exhibition.
