Do you love embroidery, creativity, and good conversation? Join Stitch & Yarn, a monthly stitching group led by community and textile artist Michelle Jahn. In these relaxed sessions, you'll learn to embroider onto personal photographs, giving old holiday snaps or meaningful pictures a fresh, artistic twist using colourful threads and unique techniques. Stitch & Yarn Exhibition As you develop your embroidery skills, you’ll have the chance to showcase your work in an exhibition at Gallery 1855 in June and July. Participation is completely optional, join just for the joy of stitching if you prefer! Join our Artists Circle at Gallery 1855 on the last Wednesday evening of the month. If you are an artist who is looking to connect while making art with other like-minded artists, this visual arts group could be for you. We've established a supportive, stimulating and inclusive arts space for group members to thrive in and we are inviting you to join us.
