DONUT 🍩 RIDE🚲 Meet 7:30 am @specializedcostamesa Roll out at 8 am ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ We have created and A group & B group. Please visit our Strava Page to view/download the route ahead of time. B group is a non-drop ride that averages ~14/15mph over the course of ~26 miles. This ride includes two re-group stops. One at the Corona Del Mar lookout off of Ocean Blvd and the other at the top of Newport Coast Drive off of San Joaquin road. Total elevation of this ride is roughly 950 feet with Newport Coast being the only major climb of the ride. The climb is self-paced and a great way to test our your climbing legs. Once we re-group with everyone at the top of the climb we begin to descend down San Joaquin road. This is a fast descent. We ask that slower riders stay off to the right side of the road, and faster riders pass safely on the left of those riders. After the descent we make our way back to the store! A group is a drop ride that is fast paced and is around 35 miles long. Very minimal rest. If you get dropped off the A group your last location to link back up with the B group is at the top of Newport Coast since the A ride continues up and over Newport Coast. When we arrive back at the store please take one donut in order to allow all riders the chance to get one. Then make your way over to the coffee line! Trained on the Bob Ross Wet On Wet Technique ® by the Bob Ross team, Karen will guide you through every step of the process to create one of the most iconic Bob Ross landscape paintings. This is the perfect course for anyone who has always wanted to try oil painting but doesn't know where to start. We'll go over supplies, set up, how to fix common happy accidents, how to handle paint thinner, clean up, brush maintenance and more! What we will be painting: This is a Level 1 oil painting class and it is recommended that you have taken an acrylic class before registering. We will be a landscape theme (see the image below reference and the class photos of other students who have completed the Level 1 workshop). Each session is 3-4 hours to include: instructions, all necessary supplies (canvas, paint, brushes, paint thinner, paper towels, apron, easel) set-up and clean-up.
