This year's fundraiser benefits Pasco Sheriff Charities - Family Support Network, a nonprofit organization that aims to educate, empower, and engage the families of law enforcement officers, providing support services to spouses, children, and parents through programs like resiliency groups. The Congress is designed with one main question: What does it mean to be a Priest and Leader in God? Based on this, we will address topics necessary to break with the past and make way for a new person who lives in a relationship with God. We will discuss topics such as the sins that bind us, generational curses, how we rebuild ourselves in the midst of battle, and priesthood and leadership in God. We will discuss resources and support groups to build us up and develop to our full potential. We will discover God's purpose for each of us and how to allow ourselves to pass through the fire to become new men, sons, fathers, husbands, and leaders. We will learn how to stop fighting for our own strength and fight for God's strength. Florida law states that all commercial fertilizer applicators must have a Limited Certification from the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) (s. 482.1562, F.S.). To get this certification, each commercial applicator must be trained in the GI-BMPs and receive a certificate of completion from UF/IFAS Extension and FDEP. Local ordinances may require that non-commercial fertilizer applicators also be trained. Who benefits from GI-BMP training? •Supervisors and employees in the lawn care, pest control, or landscape industries •Municipal parks and recreation facility supervisors and employees •Irrigation industry workers •Commercial property managers •City and county planning department staff •City and county environmental department or water quality staff •City and county commission staff •Builders and developers •Landscape designers and architects •Golf course employees •Anyone working in the areas of water quality, urban development, or environmental issues. Please note the following: Class starts promptly at 8:30am. Please arrive at 8:15am to allow for registration before the start of instruction. THERE WILL BE A 1 HOUR BREAK FOR LUNCH, WHICH IS ON YOUR OWN. There are refrigerators and microwaves available for use if you wish to bring your lunch.
