Build and decorate an Elmer community sculpture with us using a variety of collage, paints, feathers, pipe cleaners and other recycled materials. Leave your mark at Maidenhead Library and work with us on a permanent sculpture to be on display for all to enjoy in the children's library. Aprons will be provided, but beware! It will get messy. Thames Hospice Open Water Swim in Bray Lake at the Hospice. Enter a 500m, 1km, 5km or 10km challenge either individually or as part of a team. This challenge is open to all swimmers whether you are a seasoned pro and can manage long distances or you have only swum in a pool before but always fancied dipping into open water. For the safety of all involved, specific parameters are in place to participate in the 10 km individual distance. Gain new insight on what is really blocking the changes you want to make in your life Family constellation workshops can help to surface hidden dynamics and to catalyse shifts in relationships, helping us to move forward in our lives in a more positive way. Join this workshop if you are curious to know more (those already familiar with the methodology are also welcome). The workshop will include opportunities for a number of participants to explore their personal issues. Representing in someone else’s constellation can also bring clarity in your own situation. Issues explored in this workshop might include: the stories we inherited from our family our loyalties to other family members the role of both personal and collective trauma our inter-generational history Tickets £11 (the price of a cinema ticket). Join us at Woolley Firs on the outskirts of Maidenhead with your pre-school little ones to explore the nature reserve and enjoy wildlife themed activities. Please note: Due to rising costs we have unfortunately had to make the decision to increase our prices from April onwards to £8/session + booking fee. This session start time is 10am and the session finishes at 11.30am. We have a window of 15 mins at the start for families to arrive, as we may then relocate to another part of the site.  During this time there is a starter activity around the centre garden. All activities will   take place outdoors  and we recommend appropriate clothing for all weather. This event is for children 18 months - 4 years old and  we recommend that your child should be able to  walk to get the most out of the experience. Although access is suitable for thick wheeled pushchairs. Children must be  accompanied and supervised  by an  adult  who is  able to encourage and help them  with the various activities.  Further information about the session will be provided in your booking confirmation email.
