Disability Inclusion Training is designed to increase confidence, competence, and knowledge to deliver fun and inclusive activities for all abilities and needs. The workshop explores both disability-focused delivery and being inclusive of disabled people within your existing sport sessions. What will I learn? Starts Thursday 12th June 6pm - 8pm 5 week course £130 A mixed ability class that is suitable for beginner sewers who have basic machine sewing skills. Total beginners must complete our Let's Get Sewing level 1 workshop or have a1:1 sewing machine lesson before signing up to this course. Learn to make a garment to fit we have a great selection of suitable patterns. But we are happy for you to choose an alternative please pop into Flo-Jo Fabrics to discuss. You will learn how to read a pattern, measure yourself, adjust a pattern to fit your body shape and then cut lay out and cut your fabric. Whilst sewing your garment together you will have the choice to learn how to fit a facing or binding, sew darts, set in fitted sleeves, put in a zip, finish off and hem. All with the expert guidance of Sabina who will fill you with confidence and have you smiling all the way! You will need to purchase your fabric, the pattern of your choice and any sundries that you might need such as threads and zips. A DISCOUNT OF 10% IS OFFERED ON YOUR PATTERN AND ALL MATERIALS FOR THE COURSE. On the first week you will need your pattern, fabric and a set of pins.
