Boating law and procedures for handling boating emergencies such as hypothermia, boating accidents, man overboard recovery and running aground will also be covered. This is a one-day class. The class is 8 hour and is taught at the Brigantine Community Center. There is a test at the conclusion of the course and all who pass receive a State of New Jersey Boating Safety Certificate.
