The Always Mothers Luncheon is the signature annual event of A Motivating Love , held on the Saturday of the weekend before Mother’s Day. While its name reflects its origins, this event is for everyone —you don’t have to be a mother, or even a woman, to attend! The luncheon is a heartfelt celebration of connection, empowerment, and love. We honor the diversity of experiences, recognizing that Mother’s Day can carry a range of emotions for those with or without their mothers, children, or traditional family connections. This is a space where we come together to uplift one another and celebrate life’s unique journeys. At the Always Mothers Luncheon , we welcome people from all walks and stages of life—women, men, and families alike. Together, we celebrate the power of LOVE—showing it to ourselves, to one another, and to those we encounter. The event includes opportunities to shop with local vendors, enjoy a delicious plated lunch, and gain inspiration from motivational speakers. Andrew is author of The Lord of Spirits , Arise, O God , Orthodoxy and Heterodoxy , An Introduction to God , and Bearing God . He has been podcasting since 2007 and is co-host of The Lord of Spirits (with Fr. Stephen De Young), The Great Tales (with Richard Rohlin), Amon Sûl (with Richard Rohlin), The Areopagus (with Michael Landsman) and host of Orthodox Engagement , Orthodoxy and Heterodoxy , and Roads from Emmaus. With Richard Rohlin, he is co-creator of the pilgrimage documentary The Wolf and the Cross . Light hors d'oeuvres will be served. This is an adults-only event. No childcare will be provided. Sign up as a Teen Court Juror Serve as a Juror in Allen Teen Court! Choose a Teen Court date and register below. Everyone attending Teen Court should dress in attire respecting the dignity of the court. No jeans, shorts, tank tops, crop tops, hats or flip flops allowed. Dress code is strictly enforced. All persons are subject to search.
