Pub Politics | Suffolk Punch
Jul 2, 2025 (UTC+1)ENDED
New Ipswich
Politics is broken, over 40% of people didn't vote in the 2024 General election, more people than voted for the winning party.
People are disillusioned, we don't trust our elected officials and often don't even believe the media to give us honest news.
There is no easy solution to this, change must be bottom up from normal people and the first step is for normal people to be able to talk.
Pub Politics is there to offer that first step, to talk uncensored, to find common ground with our neighbours who far more often share our views than either side of the political divide.
If that ends at a good chat, thats fine but it is my hope that it opens the door for more.

Jul 13, 2025 (UTC+1)ENDED
New Ipswich
Are you looking for hands on practical experience, an opportunity to get outdoors, a chance to earn your Duke of Edinburgh award or a way to meet new friends? If so, Nature Champions: Young Wardens is the group for you!
Activities vary throughout the year but include; learning to use tools to safely carry out practical tasks that contribute to the management of green spaces in Ipswich; carrying out surveys of key wildlife species, providing information that helps to inform conservation activities in our town.
All Young Wardens need to be dropped off by an adult who can confirm their emergency contact details at the start of the session. Please do not send young wardens to the session alone as they will not be able to participate.
This event is aimed at 11 - 16 year olds.
Please note the different timings for the January session.
Please note that places are non refundable or transferable.
