Hold Me Tight® Couples Workshop | Integrative Couples Therapy

May 3, 2025 (UTC-7)ENDED
Encinitas
Cultural Experiences
Many relationships begin with ease, excitement, and connection. Over time, however, even the strongest couples can find themselves struggling to communicate or feeling the spark fade. Daily stressors, careers, raising children, and the general busyness of life can create distance between partners, leaving couples disconnected, lonely, or stuck in patterns of conflict. For some, this may show up as recurring arguments over the same issues, while others may notice a quiet drifting apart—where conversations feel surface-level, physical intimacy fades, or emotional closeness feels out of reach. If any of this resonates, you are not alone. These patterns are common and often rooted in deeper emotional needs and attachment dynamics. The good news is that with the right tools and guidance, couples can find their way back to connection, closeness, and renewed passion. We are proud to offer the Hold Me Tight® Couples Workshop (HMT) —a dynamic program designed for couples who want to strengthen their relationship, reconnect emotionally, and build a secure, lasting bond. This workshop is based on the research-backed model of Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), developed by Dr. Sue Johnson, and incorporates the key concepts from her groundbreaking book Hold Me Tight: Seven Conversations for a Lifetime of Love. Throughout the workshop, couples will engage in a mix of education, guided exercises, and private conversations designed to create new patterns of emotional connection. Participants will learn to identify negative cycles that keep them stuck, better understand the emotions and needs driving these patterns, and practice new ways of reaching for each other that foster safety, intimacy, and trust. Rather than focusing on problem-solving or communication tips alone, this workshop helps couples go deeper—creating lasting change at the emotional level where true connection happens. Whether you are looking to strengthen an already strong relationship, repair after periods of conflict or disconnection, or simply learn new tools to support your relationship through life’s challenges, Hold Me Tight® offers a supportive and transformative experience. Couples will leave with a deeper understanding of themselves and their partner, along with practical tools they can continue to use long after the workshop ends. Hold Me Tight® is a registered trademark to Sue Johnson. Information Source: Cristina Trette | eventbrite

Deep Harmony: A Cacao, Breath & Sound Journey | Soul of Yoga

May 24, 2025 (UTC-7)ENDED
Encinitas
Cultural Experiences
An evening of heart-opening, mind-expanding, and deeply restorative healing with sacred cacao, breathwork, and an immersive didgeridoo sound bath. We begin with intention setting as we welcome the medicine of ceremonial cacao, allowing it to warm the heart, expand awareness, and activate the body’s natural feel-good chemicals. Known for increasing blood flow to the brain, cacao enhances focus, supports detoxification, and strengthens the immune system. More importantly, it opens a portal to deeper inner wisdom , amplifying the potency of our breathwork practice. Our breathwork meditation uses a rhythmic, focused breath through the mouth to quiet the overactive mind, clear stagnant energy, and release emotional blockages. This practice often leads to states of deep release, creative flow, and even ecstatic or psychedelic sensations , offering profound clarity and connection. We then transition into a multi-instrumental sound journey , featuring up to five didgeridoos played in different keys alongside Himalayan chakra bowls and other vibrational instruments. These ancient sound frequencies guide you into a meditative state , mirroring the deep resonance of the earth and facilitating a journey into a dreamlike transcendence. We close with gentle integration and grounding , allowing space to absorb the experience—perhaps with more cacao! Preparation: Bring water, yoga mat and anything to make your experience cozy (eye mask, blanket, pillow, etc). Avoid heavy meals for at least 2 hours before the ceremony. If you are pregnant, consult your doctor and opt for the gentle breath technique offered. Those with bipolar disorder or schizophrenia should consult a doctor before participating. About the Facilitators: J ordana Reim Jordana is a transformational coach, meditation guide, and spiritual mentor for entrepreneurs, CEOs, and creative souls seeking deeper connection, clarity, and purpose. She blends ancient wisdom with modern-day mindset practices to help individuals access their highest potential. Jordana’s path has led her to spend years living and learning in sacred spaces worldwide, from the ashrams of India to the Himalayan monasteries of Nepal and Bhutan, refining her expertise in meditation, breathwork, and holistic healing. She is the founder of Sukha Sound Singing Bowls & Meditation, where she trains others in Nepalese singing bowl practices and imports healing-grade bowls directly from Nepal. Her work in sound healing bridges tradition and modern well-being, offering deep restorative experiences through vibration and frequency. As co-founder of Peace Inside Live, an experience agency for well-being, Jordana achieved a career-defining moment in 2023 when Peace Inside Live was honored at NASDAQ’s Opening Bell Ceremony for its commitment to Mental Health Awareness. Jordana is the author of Inner Peace: A Guided Meditation Journal for Beginners and co-author of The JOMO Journal: A Daily Practice for the Joy of Missing Out . Her original meditations have been enjoyed by millions worldwide, and she continues to lead transformational retreats in Thailand, Nepal, and beyond. Justin Yasgoor The roots of Justin's life have stretched in multiple directions, leading him to the waters of various interests and experiences. These range from the mythologies and teachings of cultures all over the globe, to deep personal meditations and investigations of the soul. From the combination of his own journeys into the subconscious, graduate-level education in clinical and Jungian psychology, and the use of Plant Medicines, it is one of his greater life’s purposes to lend a helping hand to others who have faced adversities, to find meaning in them, and to integrate that meaning back into life. His private therapy practice geared towards psychedelic integration supports this. He has also been recognized in multiple communities, worldwide, for his 25 years of didgeridoo playing and experience. Tickets: $75 Information Source: Soul of Yoga | eventbrite
