In this collage workshop, participants will create mini ‘self-portraits’ on shipping tags. Seema will describe the intuitive process behind her collages. By bringing metaphor and symbolic imagery to the surface, this process can convey a “felt sense” and express what is beyond words and/or conscious knowing. Using her collaged tags as an example, Seema will show how these works can lead to greater self-understanding. She will also share some “self-taught tips” she regularly uses in her collage practice.
