May 3, 2025 from 10 AM to 12 PM Join local clean water advocates for a cleanup at River Glen Beach and MacEachron Waterfront Park from 10 AM to 12 PM for the 14th Annual Riverkeeper Sweep. This is a rain or shine event. Volunteers will meet at 1 River Street, Hastings-on-Hudson (Harvest on Hudson Restaurant). Parking is available at the MetroNorth Station for free on Saturdays. We recommend that all Sweep volunteers bring a hat, sunscreen, a full reusable water bottle, insect repellent, work gloves and hand sanitizer. This site is suitable for elementary-aged children with adult supervision. Questions? Over the last 13 years, Sweep leaders have completed 1,349 service projects, bringing together thousands of volunteers from NYC to the Adirondacks to clean up 382 tons of debris, and plant or maintain 8,851 native plants.
