The special exhibition "More than Terracotta Warriors - New Archaeological Discoveries in Shaanxi in the 21st Century" was grandly opened at the Bowers Museum in Orange County, California, USA. Nearly 200 friendly people from all walks of life in China and the United States traced the long river of history together and felt the unique and lasting charm of ancient Chinese historical and cultural heritage. Qian Jikui, deputy director of the Shaanxi Provincial Cultural Relics Bureau, Bi Sheng, director of the Shaanxi Provincial Cultural Relics Exchange Center, and Li Gang, director of the Qin Shihuang Mausoleum Museum, attended the opening ceremony. Qian Jikui, deputy director of the Shaanxi Provincial Cultural Relics Bureau, pointed out in his opening speech that Shaanxi is one of the important birthplaces of Chinese civilization, and its long history has left behind a large number of precious cultural heritages. This exhibition is "a flash of brilliant civilization and an outline of historical culture." He hopes that "this exhibition can become a beam of light to illuminate the road of mutual learning between civilizations and a bridge to connect the exchange of Eastern and Western cultures."
