Our monthly jazz evenings feature “Jazz Tradition”, a trio led by Gerry Rose on double bass and vocals. This is “cafe-style” jazz with tunes mainly from the 1930s and 1940s. Karl Wirrmann leads on clarinet and saxes, and John Parker plays guitar in his distinctive smooth style. This is a relaxed but swinging take on small group traditional jazz, played by experienced musicians. The line-up will sometimes change, with a guest musician bringing their individual talents to the group. Sit back, relax and enjoy the music with fine wine or cocktail from the bar.
