Now in their 15th year of touring, The Overtones are a multi-platinum selling UK vocal harmony group, with seven top 10 studio albums, over 1 million copies sold, and 11 sell-out UK tours. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced weaver, this workshop encourages you to experiment with textures, colours and patterns while creating at your own woven hoop. If you prefer more guidance, designs will be available to follow. Various techniques will be demonstrated for you to choose from and incorporate into your weave. Take inspiration from the summer season of golden sands, blue sea and warm sunsets. All materials and equipment will be provided, including a large selection of recycled and surplus yarns and fibres to show how easy it is to turn discarded materials or surplus craft stash into something beautiful and unique. Whitney Houston’s musical legacy is brought to life in this critically acclaimed tribute concert starring Belinda and her 5-piece live band. Originally hailing from South Africa, Belinda is currently on an international tour and is only playing a handful of venues in the UK across 3 weeks, making this an exclusive opportunity to see her fantastic show up close and personal in an intimate setting. Performing professionally since the age of 14, Belinda was signed early to Tusk Records and was the opening act for many international artists when they visited South Africa, including Michael Jackson, The Manhattans & The Temptations. Since 2013, she has been the star of The Greatest Love of All, performing across much of the globe including the US, Canada, Europe, Australia, Singapore, the Philippines and Indonesia. The Regeneration Course Minimally Invasive Surgical/Non Surgical Techniques An exclusive opportunity to experience a unique combination of lecture and hands-on workshop delivered by world renowned Specialist in Periodontics Professor Luigi Nibali accompanied by Dr Varkha Rattu. The morning session will comprise a joint 2-handed lecture for all clinicians - specialists, dentists, hygienists and therapists. The cohort will learn the theoretical aspects of: Infrabony defects – causes, types, classification Wound healing – with a particular focus on regeneration vs repair Principles and techniques used in regenerative surgery Principles and techniques used for minimally invasive non-surgical therapy (MINST) The workshops will run concurrently after lunch and are an opportunity to have 'hands-on' experience with NSK products suitable for minimally invasive procedures. MIST Workshop - led by Prof Nibali Introduction to regenerative/reconstructive periodontal surgical techniques Introduction to regenerative/reconstructive periodontal materials Hands-on session of minimally-invasive flap designs used for periodontal regenerative/reconstructive surgeries using pig’s heads and biomaterials. MINST workshop - led by Dr Varkha Rattu Practical 1: Understanding defect anatomy Practical 2: Understanding tools used for MINST Practical 3: Understanding biology of MINST Practical 4: The MINST protocol (on specialised models with infrabony defects) Delegates can choose to attend either the morning lecture, including lunch (maximum 50 delegates) or the full day lecture and workshops (15 delegates* per workshop).
