2025年4月13日至4月16日，清邁古城將迎來泰國最具吸引力的宋干節活動之一——清邁潑水節。在這個節日期間，清邁古城的東塔佩門（Thapae Gate）和北常帕門（Chang Phuek Gate）會搖身一變，成為歡樂與激情的匯聚地。屆時，街道上滿是載著歡聲笑語人群的卡車，熱情的人們相互潑水，熱鬧非凡。清邁向來以寧靜的生活氛圍著稱，然而潑水節卻是個充滿活力的例外。尤其是古城的護城河邊，取水極為便利，這裡也成為了潑水節活動的熱門地點。潑水節可不僅僅是一場水的狂歡，東塔佩門附近的街道和夜市也會被節日的氛圍籠罩。 另外，帕辛寺會舉行浴佛儀式，信徒們帶著香線、鮮花和清水，以此表達對佛祖的敬重與感恩之情。整個古城及其周邊馬路都會沉浸在歡樂之中，不管是駕車還是步行，到處都能感受到激情飛濺的水花。中央歡慶百貨舉辦的潑水活動也是潑水節不容錯過的精彩部分，參與者可以全身心投入其中，盡情體驗泰國新年的歡樂。 如果打算去清邁度過潑水節，那古城區域可一定不能錯過。在那裡，最激烈的潑水大戰要數東塔佩門和北常帕門附近了，常常會有滿載人群的卡車朝著行人猛潑水呢。這個古老而迷人的城市舉辦的潑水節，融合了傳統與現代，既展現了泰國豐富的文化遺產，又能給世界各地的遊客帶來難忘的新年體驗，真的非常值得親身感受一次。

From April 13 to April 16, 2025, the ancient city of Chiang Mai will host one of Thailand's most captivating Songkran celebrations—the Chiang Mai Water Festival. During this festive period, the Tha Phae Gate and Chang Phuek Gate transform into vibrant hubs of joy and excitement. The streets come alive with trucks filled with cheerful crowds, and enthusiastic participants engage in lively water fights, creating an electrifying atmosphere. Known for its tranquil lifestyle, Chiang Mai bursts with energy during Songkran, especially along the city moat, where water is easily accessible, making it a popular spot for festivities. Songkran is not just about water fun; the streets and night markets near Tha Phae Gate are also enveloped in the festive spirit. Additionally, Wat Phra Singh hosts a Buddha bathing ceremony, where devotees bring incense, flowers, and water to express their respect and gratitude to Buddha. The entire ancient city and its surrounding roads are immersed in joy, with splashes of water felt everywhere, whether you're driving or walking. The water activities organized by Central Festival Chiang Mai are a must-see part of Songkran, allowing participants to fully immerse themselves in the joyous Thai New Year celebrations. If you're planning to spend Songkran in Chiang Mai, the Old City is a must-visit area.
