5K Pump & Run | CrossFit Steadfast
May 24, 2025 (UTC-4)ENDED
Ashland
Third annual event benefitting SEEDnet hosted this year by CrossFit Steadfast. SEEDnet shares the Gospel of Jesus in low income areas and gives them their own church.
In the competition, participants bench press a percentage of their body weight. Each lift (up to a max of 30 reps) reduces their 5-kilometer run time by 30 seconds. Depending on age, men must bench press 60 to 100 percent of their weight, and women 40 to 70 percent of their weight. Prizes awarded to the top 3 finishing males and top 3 finishing females.
If you aren't into the competition, you can still be part of the event by running or walking a mile or the 5k.
New this year is a Youth Mini Pump & Run at 10am. This time slot is for kids of all ages. They can bench press if they want and then run a mile. Teens between the ages of 14-17 can choose if they want to compete with the adults during the 9 or 11am heat or do the mini pump & run at 10am. It will be a fun morning for the whole family!
Each participant that registers through May 11th, will receive a quality commemorative t-shirt. One prize awarded randomly during each heat.
Arrive 15 minutes before your heat/ticket time for weigh-in and warming up prior to benching. Bottles of water provided.
Register between February 28 - May 11th for early bird pricing of $30 for adults, $15 for kids. After May 11th and same-day registration is $40 for adults, $20 for kids.
