Chartley Moss Summer walk Come join us for a delightful summer walk at Chartley Moss National Nature Reserve and learn about the plants and animals that make their home in this hostile environment. We also hope to spot some late flying white-faced darter dragonflies by the pools. Directions to the meeting point will be sent with your email ticket. The walk is on predominatelyflat ground, although access to the moss is via a steep zig-zag path down the side of an old railway embankment. The path on the moss is very uneven with tussocky grasses, brambles and is very soft in some areas. There are some areas of log path, which may be slippy and uneven. Now on Mondays! Wildlings is a play group with a twist with Staffordshire Wildlife Trust! Come along and try new things outdoors. You could swing in a hammock, get mucky making a mud pie or find yourselves mesmerised by the flames of a campfire. We will have a campfire weather permitting, but if there is anything specific you would like to toast on the campfire please bring it with you. Hand sanitiser will be provided. We play whatever the weather so please make sure your little ones and yourself are dressed suitably. From 1st April 2024, our ticket prices will increase slightly to accommodate Eventbrite's small booking fee on top of the ticket cost, for all our payable events. This is to ensure we receive the full payment from each ticket, and can continue doing the work we do.
