No one will be turned away for lack of ability to pay. Wayne Carter is a Cartoonist and Educator living in Vermont. Wayne is an Alum from the Center for Cartoon studies and recently finished a Residency for the National Parks Service. You can find more of his work at @pinkclownoress on Instagram. At 3:30PM, athletes and participants will walk to the Gym together to witness the thrilling Volleyball warm-ups.
Parents and guardians can either join us at the Roberts Pavilion gym to watch the game or pick their kids up at 4PM. The Volleyball game against Occidental will commence promptly at 4PM, and we invite all parents, guardians, and participants to stay and enjoy the action-packed match. As a token of appreciation, event participants will receive complimentary admission, courtesy of the WEIS Club and CMS Athletics.

Join us to learn the Foundations of Self Defence!Have you always wanted to learn self-defence strategies? Have a general interest in martial arts or combat sports? Come and learn the basic of Self Defence in this hands- on/movement based workshop with Hastings local Georgjis Rogolevs! This is an introductory session to learn the basics of self defence. No prior experience needed and materials provided. Wear comfy clothes! During the event, you will get a chance to practice different movements and techniques and engage in partner work. Meet friends, try a new skills and leave feeling more confident! In this session you will specifically learn: The correct stance and safe distance managementHow to break out of holdsHow to defend from chokeholdsHow to protect yourself when you hit to the ground.About our facilitator: I am a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black belt and 3 times English, 3 x British and 3 x European Jiu Jitsu Champion amongst 50+ other titles. I have been teaching the art of self defence and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for the past 13 years with last 6 years teaching full time. I have started training to improve my fiyness, confidence and self esteem and I proudly can say this worked for me better than I expected it to be. I look forward to share my knowledge with you and hoping to meet you soon . Georgjis has experience teaching people with autism, adhd, ADD, depression, limb deformation. He is fluent in English, Russian, Latvian, Lithuanian.
