Cara will be in a conversation with Amy Estes and Ryan Walton moderated by our store owner, Emily Autenrieth, who spent far too much time in church camp as a teen, to discuss this complex and essential topic. About our panelists: ⛺️ Cara Meredith was once a Christian camp fanatic, reveling in the play-packed days and dutifully attending the nightly Bible teachings. In her forthcoming book, she hopes to prompt reform in an institution she calls socially and spiritually exclusive. ⛺️ Amy Estes is an essayist and humor writer whose work has appeared in The Rumpus, HuffPost, Catapult, McSweeney’s, Slackjaw, The Belladonna, and more.
