Join my drawing workshop (for adults 16+) on Sunday 4th May, 10-12. Every first Sunday of the month. Meet outside the Visitors’ Centre at Highwoods Country Park. Materials and guidance supplied but please bring a camp chair or something waterproof to sit on. We will be working in colour today to capture the bluebells. Participants need to be mobile enough to get to the site through woodland terrain. Refunds will only be given should the session need to be cancelled by me due to poor weather conditions or any other unforeseen circumstance that affects my ability to deliver the session. Refunds will not be made on cancellations made by participants less than 7 days before the session, or to no-shows, but a transfer may be possible. Please, no children or pets, music or rubbish - these woodland sessions are designed to be peaceful and respectful. I look forward to spending a relaxing time with you and helping you to get creative. 🙏

ECC also have a long-term ambition to work differently, in collaboration with the sector. We want to work with organisations that share our purpose and values to appropriately meet the needs and deliver good outcomes for Essex young people, in Essex.
ECC has planned a collaboration event on the

Social enterprise organisations (small and large) who want to work in Essex
This event aims to set out a new way of working together by collaborating with you to co-design sustainable and purposeful solutions to Essex sufficiency. This event is for directors and owners of children’s homes.

Join in with this brand new friendly meetup for illustrators of the Essex area to come together, socialise and discuss business and practical issues that affect us as Essex illustrators. We will draw, vote on upcoming events and discuss everyone's specific needs. While this meet-up is free to attend, spaces are very limited so please sign-up early and add it to your diary. If you discover you're not able to come along, please cancel your space, so someone else has the chance to take your place.
This is a trial meet-up for Essex and is supported by the AOI. The meet-up is open to all illustrators at any level of experience. The meet-up host is local illustrator Emma Thomas.
