Featured Events in Hermosa Beach in May, 2025 (June Updated)

The Third Annual YOU ARE ENOUGH Run/Walk 5K is a mental health and wellness event that brings people together from all over Los Angeles and even throughout the country to help one another feel worthy, seen, and supported. We will be holding the event at the amazing Hermosa and Manhattan Beach cities on the 3.1 mile course on the Strand between the two beach city piers. We will have a live DJ, food and beverages, awesome grab bags and a lot of smiles and hugs. We will also have pre-event wellness sessions in the South Bay where you can learn how to care that much more for your well-being. YOU WILL HELP GET BILLBOADS UP THROUGHOUT LA! Partial proceeds from the event will go towards raising billboards anywhere in Los Angeles. Last year we raised four billboards in Redondo Beach, Gardena, West Hollywood, and Inglewood. These billboards saved lives and gave folks a stronger sense of self and belonging. RAISE YOUR OWN BILLBOARD WITH YOUR NAME ON IT! This year we are also encouraging folks to form teams to do peer to peer fundraising in order for the team to launch their own billboard up anywhere in the country with their name on it! Depending on where the location of the billboard is, the amount needed to raise can be anywhere between $2700 - $3000. I will work with you on finding out the exact best spot and amount you can work with. SPECIAL DISCOUNTS AND FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITIES For those of you who want to form a group, your fee will be $30.00. Please contact me to let me know what the name of your group is and I will get your name up on the tickets list. LAMAR ADVERTISING IN THE DESERT Lamar Outdoor Advertising has made a special offer that will help people in the Coachella, Riverside/Palm Springs area by launching a billboard, once a month, for a year, for $800. The area has had an issue with suicides and depression and would like to work with Giving Purpose to get billboards up.
