We nourish our community when we prioritize being a safe person for others to be around (even if it would be easier to put your head down and work without regard to your coworkers). About our Speaker Christie Luther Founding Executive Director of the RISE program; a collaboration between the Oklahoma State Board of cosmetology and Department of Corrections to teach justice involved/ incarcerated women and men the skills of cosmetology and barbering and provide wrap around re-entry services. She operates 3 schools, 2 transitional living homes, provide 1400 women services monthly, and have 0% recidivisim. Christie is an appointed Board Member @ the OK COSMETOLOGY Board and a Celebrate Recovery Inside State Representative. She is mother to 2 daughters, Gigi to 1 grand-daughter, a Pastor, avid traveler, and Harley enthusiast. She travels to Africa annually to speak at the men and women's prisons, churches and orphanages.
