Please arrive at the start location 15 minutes prior to the event start time to leave enough time to sign in. Getting to the start location. We will be meeting at the end of Spring Road, Kalumunda. I suggest stopping at the public toilets at the Zig Zag Cultural Cente in Kalumunda on your way to the start location, and otherwise being prepared to be at one with nature. What about the weather? If the weather is terrible the event may be postponed/cancelled. If this happens you will be sent an email advising of this and providing you with options to transfer your ticket to another event or receive a refund. If the event is postponed/cancelled, a post will also be put up on the facebook event page advising of this. Transfers Because I will have invested considerable time and effort in planning this event, no refunds are available unless the event is cancelled/postponed. However, tickets are transferable, meaning that if you are unable to attend you can send a friend in your place. Transfers to future events may be possible if at least 72 hours prior notice is provided. Kalamunda skatepark coaching session Freestyle Now will be conducting FREE skatepark coaching workshop sessions at the Kalamunda skatepark for participants in Skateboard, Scooter, BMX, Rollerskate. Each coaching workshop session is 50 minutes in duration. The first session will be dedicated to beginners in the skatepark, looking to gain basic skills and confidence who are 6 years and under. The second session will be for beginners over the age of 6 who are looking to gain basic skills and confidence. The third session would be open to any participant over the age of 6 who has skatepark experience and would like to increase their skill level, get advice on tricks and gain new confidence levels. These workshop sessions fun, informative and motivational and will help participants learn confidence skills and understanding of skatepark activities. The Freestyle Now coaches help the participants ride at their own level and encourage progression. All our instructors are very easy going and relate to the participants well. Our workshops cover all aspects of the sports, as well as equipment maintenance and personal safety issues. All equipment is checked prior to the participant’s involvement to make sure that it is in a safe condition and minor repairs or adjustments can be made if necessary. We do, however, reserve the right to not permit a participant to attend the workshop if we feel that their equipment does not meet safety requirements. Through these artworks, the exhibition celebrates the beauty of landscapes, their history, and the deep significance they hold for people, offering an opportunity for viewers to reflect on their own travels and personal connections to the land. Real / Imagined: Artist in Residence Events with Sarah Eve As part of her artist residency during the exhibition, Sarah Eve is offering several community events. These include an artist talk, a Q&A session, and painting workshops for both adults and teenagers, where participants can create their own mini painting to take home.
