Join us for the return of Red Hook Regatta at Valentino Pier, where remote-controlled, 3D-printed, and DIY boats take on an obstacle course along Red Hook’s picturesque waterfront. DOORS 7PM | SHOW 8PM Switch n' Play (SNP) is a Brooklyn drag collective established in 2006. Queer in every sense of the word, Switch n' Play spans the gender spectrum in life and on stage. The collective's impressive roster of artists includes Divina GranSparkle , K.James , Miss Malice , Nyx Nocturne , the Illustrious Pearl , Vigor Mortis , and Zoe Ziegfeld . Switch n' Play produced shows twice a month at Branded Saloon in Prospect Heights from 2014-2020, in addition to mounting large-scale productions at National Sawdust in Williamsburg in 2018-2020. The collective currently produces regularly at Littlefield in Gowanus, Brooklyn. Switch n' Play won "Best Burlesque Show" at the Brooklyn Nightlife Awards in 2017, 2018, and 2019, and has also been recognized in the "Best Drag Show" and "Hall of Fame" categories. The collective has been invited to perform at Lincoln Center, Sasha Velour's NightGowns , Bushwig , the New York Public Library, the Brooklyn Academy of Music, and the Brooklyn Museum. Together, we’ll take a scenic stroll through the Cemetery, enjoying gentle exercise, breathtaking views, and engaging conversation along the way. More than just a walk, it’s a chance to connect, share stories, and celebrate life and legacy in a one-of-a-kind setting. Expect good company, meaningful moments, and maybe even a few unexpected tales from the past. Leading the way is Mary Pat Klein, an acclaimed fiber artist, fitness instructor, and facilitator of Green-Wood’s Grieving and Weaving program. She knows these winding paths like the back of her hand—there’s not a gravestone she hasn’t seen! Free. Registration required.
