BronxNet’s studio production classes prepare students to produce talk shows and programs in the station’s state-of-the-art studios. Participants receive hands-on training in operating studio cameras, switchers, graphics generators, and audio boards as well as instruction in show planning, set design, and interviewing techniques.
Instructor Biography: Angel Gonzalez
For the past six years, Angel Gonzalez has proved his expertise in various programs at BronxNet cable programming. His experience includes but is not limited to preparing and producing talk shows, remote interviews, videographing musical/drama performances, M.O.S., and faith-based programs.
Furthermore, Angel’s freelance experiences helped his ideas to expand outside the studio production environment, allowing him to be flexible with limited resources. One of Angel’s favorite things to do is being a youth leader where he volunteers as the lead visual/audio engineer at God's House of Worship. His mission is to help the youth to find their purpose in life and provide production training to members of all ages.

City streets, some hills, and the OCA rail trail is softer ground along the way.

Parking:
There is some free street parking in Bronx if you are willing to drive around a bit. Or you can park free at the end point of Tarrytown Train Station (endpoint) and carpool (Uber/Lyft) from Tarrytown to the start at 242nd St/Broadway.
Difficulty:
Moderate. The end time is approximately 5 pm, can vary depending on on the group. Pace about 3-3.5 mph.
What to bring/wear:
Pack your lunch/drinks. Weather can be hot, so light clothes, hat and sunblock. If you have a FreeWalker bib from a past walk, please put it on your pack. If not, you will be given one.

Explore the Bronx to Yonkers with a picnic lunch break at the magnificent Untermeyer Gardens (bathrooms too). We continue on through quaint neighborhoods to the OCA trail on to Tarrytown with an opportunity for a brief stroll on the Mario Cuomo Bridge - a quick view of the Hudson River.
This is a one-way walk, so be sure to arrange your own transportation back to the start or elsewhere. MetroNorth in Tarrytown will get you back to Grand Central, subways or take you north as well.

Fermín Suárez
(SAG/AFTRA), is an actor, director, videographer, editor, and animator.
Fermín came to New York after an intensive acting career in his native Dominican Republic. His USA credits as a theatrical actor include important companies like

, a one-person comedy sketch show in which he played five characters. Fermin was the camera director in all life programs for the former TV network

He also produced and hosted a weekly TV show for this network called
Caras De Una Ciudad
, a variety show with professional and street artists in NYC, plus documentaries about the city. Fermin has worked as a videographer, editor, and animator on many projects, including music videos, sports, live events, TV commercials, infomercials, etc.

, written, produced, and directed by Fermin, is a cinematic view of Dominican literature, two short films based on two short stories by

For these last nine years, Fermin has been the instructor for the field video production class for
Bronxnet
