You're invited to join us in learning the fundamentals of botanical watercolour painting. Whether you've a few paintings under your belt, or are just starting out with watercolour, I'll have some fresh tips and tricks for you to discover, as well as a printed guide to take home. NOTE This ticket is for the single stand-alone Lesson iv. We'll work on how to~ Become familiar with your materialsTranslate your vision for the painting on to the pageCreate stunning and convincing botanicals and floralsMake painting a fun and stress-free experience!Each session has a different focus~ Lesson iv~ 'Creating Form & Realism' (Sat 5th July 10.00-11.30) We'll work on~ Learning the rules of physics and 3D space, then break them for botanicals that leave a lasting impression!We’ll look at tonal values and shadow, how to ‘anchor’ your subject in the scene, and how to show how the objects in your space relate to each otherHow you can create convincing and ‘real’ botanicals without them being perfectly realistic.Each lesson will have a different choice of real and photographed botanical subjects to paint and study, and you'll pick up the fundamentals which can be applied to any painting subject, not just botanicals.
