The Earth Moves site can be accessed on foot and by bicycle from Bayswater Road, turning onto Green Lane and walking up the lane for 480 meters. It is also within walking distance of the North Wirral Coastal Car Park on Green Lane, Wallasey CH45 8NA. The e-pILS course is suitable for ODP's, doctors, medical students, nurses, nursing students, midwives, paramedics and student paramedics, physiotherapists, dentistry professionals and other health and care professionals. It may also be suitable for fire service technicians, police personnel, prison officers and Advanced First Aid practitioners with a FREC 3 / 4 qualification. What does it cover? An e-pILS course provides a variety of skills, from managing a deteriorating patient, identifying causes and treating cardiac arrest, to improving abilities as both a team member and leader. It Is therefore the ideal training tool for healthcare professionals who may have to act as a first responder in an emergency, giving them the skills to treat patients in cardiac arrest before a supporting team arrives. e-pILS uses the same core curriculum as pILS and is Resuscitation Council UK’s most attended course. ILS certification is recognised in the UK, EU and Australia. What are the objectives? The e-pILS course teaches the knowledge and skills to: understand the structured ABCDE approach that facilitates rapid recognition of seriously ill children provide appropriate initial treatment interventions to prevent cardiorespiratory arrest treat children in respiratory or cardiorespiratory arrest until the arrival of a resuscitation team or more experienced assistance become an effective team member who can respond appropriately in an emergency.
