Where is the site?
Telegraph Lane is a pedestrian path between Green Lane and Leasowe Road. The lane runs alongside a series of fields, formerly the market gardens for Wallasey. The site is a 10 min walk from Wallasey Grove Road station. The Earth Moves site can be accessed on foot and by bicycle from Bayswater Road, turning onto Green Lane and walking up the lane for 480 meters. It is also within walking distance of the North Wirral Coastal Car Park on Green Lane, Wallasey CH45 8NA.
The site does not have public car parking, but the North Wirral Coastal Car Park is a short walk away. Bicycle parking is available.

The e-pILS course is suitable for ODP's, doctors, medical students, nurses, nursing students, midwives, paramedics and student paramedics, physiotherapists, dentistry professionals and other health and care professionals. It may also be suitable for fire service technicians, police personnel, prison officers and Advanced First Aid practitioners with a FREC 3 / 4 qualification.
What does it cover?
An e-pILS course provides a variety of skills, from managing a deteriorating patient, identifying causes and treating cardiac arrest, to improving abilities as both a team member and leader. It Is therefore the ideal training tool for healthcare professionals who may have to act as a first responder in an emergency, giving them the skills to treat patients in cardiac arrest before a supporting team arrives. e-pILS uses the same core curriculum as pILS and is Resuscitation Council UK’s most attended course. ILS certification is recognised in the UK, EU and Australia.
What are the objectives?
The e-pILS course teaches the knowledge and skills to:
understand the structured ABCDE approach that facilitates rapid recognition of seriously ill children
provide appropriate initial treatment interventions to prevent cardiorespiratory arrest
treat children in respiratory or cardiorespiratory arrest until the arrival of a resuscitation team or more experienced assistance become an effective team member who can respond appropriately in an emergency.
What is the course structure?
The e-pILS course combines half a day of e-learning with half a day of face-to-face learning in one of our many Course Centres. We use our evidence-based guidelines and cutting-edge research to create our courses. Courses are then delivered by members of our dedicated and highly skilled Instructor base. This guarantees that our courses are uniform, and the content remains the same across all our Course Centres.
What is the pre-course preparation:
Before the course, you will be registered on the Resuscitation Council UK Learning Management System (LMS). Here, you can access pre-course modules that will prepare you for your face-to-face session, and you may be asked to complete a pre-course multiple choice question (MCQ) paper.
You will receive your course manual at least two weeks before the course. Candidates are expected to read the manual in preparation for the course.
