REMI WOLF
Remi Wolf has remained steadfast in her position as pop’s most rule-shattering risk-taker. Since releasing her critically acclaimed 2021 full-length debut,
Juno
, the world has found it hard to look away from the irreverent, bold, and colorful star. She’s racked up over two billion global streams, had top billing at festivals like Coachella, Lollapalooza, and Outside Lands, and opened for artists such as Olivia Rodrigo, Lorde, and Paramore. Along the way, she’s collaborated with the likes of Nile Rodgers, Beck, Sylvan Esso, Dominic Fike, and more. This year, Remi is back with her latest album,
Big Ideas
, which was released on July 12th via Island Records. The album has garnered critical acclaim from Billboard, Rolling Stone, The New York Times, Vogue, Pitchfork, and many more.
Big Ideas
is an emotionally complex, funky project that reflects on her transient life on the road over the last few years. The album continues to push the boundaries of genre, seeing her challenge herself musically and lyrically with a mix of old and new collaborators, such as Jared Solomon, Ethan Gruska, Leon Michels, and the Dap-Kings, Carter Lang, among several others. In support of the new album, Remi made her debut performance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert with a live rendition of “Cinderella” and performed the album’s focus track “Soup” on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and visited NPR's Tiny Desk for an intimate performance highlighting the new album. She has set off on her Big Ideas Tour, with stops including three sold-out nights at NYC's Kings Theatre and a sold-out night at The Greek Theatre in LA.

DANA & ALDEN
Brothers Dana and Alden McWayne, along with a troupe of multi-instrumental artists, come together to create jazzy melodies with indie sounds inspired by their unconventional upbringing in Eugene, Oregon.
Their debut album, Quiet Music for Young People, is an amalgamation of their childhood, melding memories of summer days spent working at an apple orchard, and rainy winter nights where they jammed at cozy jazz clubs. These retrospective moments are channeled through the lens of their wide- ranging influences, from Ahmad Jahmal to Big Thief to Bad Bunny.
Alden, the younger of the two, is a drummer and recent graduate of Berklee College of Music, while Dana, the elder statesmen, is a saxophonist and organic farm inspector in Durham, NC.

Pub Trivia Murder Mystery Challenge: The Case of the Quiz Night Killer | East Rock Brewing Company & Beer Hall
Apr 29, 2025 (UTC-4)ENDED
New Haven
For months, the local pub was home to a run-of-the-mill trivia game. Until one night, it was home to a murder! A local player dropped dead in this otherwise friendly battle of wits, and the game hasn't run again since... until tonight.
Tonight, we're enlisting your help to solve this mystery the only way we know how: Through a game of pub trivia. Each round, your group will answer trivia questions, which will, in turn, unlock details of the murder, uncover backstories and ultimately answer the greatest question of them all: Whodunnit?
So form a team with your sleuthiest friends and see if you can solve The Case of The Quiz Night Killer!
Please note: This is not a theatrical production featuring actors or audience roles or some of the other staples of a murder mystery production, rather this is a trivia game with a murder mystery puzzle interwoven.
A few other items of note...
---------
1)
We have run this game elsewhere in New England as "Pub Trivia Murder Mystery Challenge: The Case of the Poisoned Patron". They are both the same game, featuring the same key elements and questions, so we'd ask players not to sign up for more than one event.
However, for those of you dying to play again, we have good news: If this continues to get as good a reaction as it has so far, we plan to do a new mystery later this year. If you click the "upcoming events" tab at
www.quirkevents.com
, and choose the city of your choice, then scroll all the way to the bottom of the page, you'll be able to join our mailing list and get notified about future events.
Plus, joining our mailing list gets you 50% off your first ticket purchase!
2) Refunds are only available to those who cancel with more than 48 hours' notice. After that, we're blowing the money from your ticket sale on something extravagant and nonrefundable.
