A vocal music camp using Disney songs through the decades! July 14-18 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM FEE: $200 Join us as we travel through the evolution of Disney songs beginning with the classics and journeying through shows like Tangled, Frozen, Princess & the Frog, Encanto, Toy Story and Moana. Campers will learn the basics of reading sheet music and vocal technique. Whether your camper wants to sing solo, duet with a friend, or prefers to only sing in a group, there's something for everyone! Upon arrival, the sorting hat will assign campers to houses and they will receive their robes. The week will be filled with wand-making, brewing potions (science experiments), Quidditch matches, scavenger hunts, activities using logic, lots of Harry Potter trivia, and much much more. They will receive lessons in astronomy, the proper care of magical creatures, using their imagination for good in the world, being a thoughtful friend, and getting along with others through group games inspired by the books. THIS IS A TWO-WEEK SUMMER CAMP (Grades: Rising 6 - 8) July 21 - August 1 (Performances August 1 @7PM and August 2 @ 2PM & 7PM) Join Tidewater Players & STAR Summer Camps as we explore the big blue world with this lively new stage musical based on the beloved Pixar film! 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM Disney’s Finding Nemo JR. is a musical adaptation of the beloved 2003 Pixar movie Finding Nemo, with new music by award-winning songwriting team Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. Marlin, an anxious and over-protective clownfish, lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his kid Nemo, who longs to explore the world beyond their anemone home. But when Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney, Marlin faces his fears and sets off on an epic adventure across the ocean. With the help of lovable characters such as optimistic Dory, laid-back sea turtle Crush, and the supportive Tank Gang, Marlin and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves.
