We are flying the very talented and incredible Prince Paltu Ob over from the Philippines to dance with you! He is a dance artist and battler, multi-talented musician, singer and DJ for street Jams and battles. This multitude of musical skills all totally shows in his Zumba masterclasses - it’s Zumba as we know it, with a heavy dose of COOL, like, totally cool ! You know I fly presenters in long haul unless they are exceptional - and this guy is exactly that - exceptional! Join Shelter for the epic challenge of an open water swim (with water temperature expected to be around 18°C. Enjoy all the benefits of cold water swimming (including boosting your immune system, improving circulation, reducing those aches and pains and improving your mental health), whilst supporting Shelter in the Fight for home. PLEASE NOTE, THIS COURSE IS ONLY FOR PEOPLE WHO WILL BE LEADING WALKS IN DONCASTER. Community walks are reliant on residents volunteering to lead walks and Doncaster Council are here to help residents to either set up or join existing walks as a leader. Being a Walk Leader can be rewarding, fun, and a great opportunity to meet people and socialise. The main role of a walk leader is to lead safe, enjoyable and welcoming walks. Doncaster Council are pleased to offer two types of Walk Leader training, if you would like to talk through the options or have any questions about becoming a Walk Leader, please contact ella.oldroyd@doncaster.gov.uk Option 1: Full Walk Leader training to become able to lead Ramblers Wellbeing Walks (new name for Walking for Health Health Walks). This training consists of: Wellbeing Walks Induction (document to read at your own convenience)Walk Leader Handbook (document to read at your own convenience)Walk Leadership Foundations (90 min online course at your own convenience)Preventing and Managing Incidents (60 min online course at your own convenience)Walk Leadership for Wellbeing Walks (3 hour course in-person with practical)Option 2: a shorter Walk Leader training to be able to lead community walks. This is aimed at those who would not be leading Ramblers Wellbeing Walks but would be leading walks for organisations with Public Liability Insurance. The 2024 Yorkshire Shooting Show will be packed with money-saving deals, the latest product launches, more attractions and the best in night hunting equipment from some of the best brands in the industry. The Doncaster Racecourse is the perfect venue for the indoor and outdoor event, and the raised grandstand makes the perfect area for testing scopes, binoculars and night vision equipment. Please note that dogs on leads ARE permitted on site. SHOOTING For the 2024 Yorkshire Shooting Show, the indoor area will be devoted to all aspects of shooting; including gun stalls, the latest airguns from Brocock, Weihrauch and Daystate, shooting accessories (including Night Master lamps, night vision and thermal imaging gear) and hunting clothing from brands such as Swazi, Blaser, Deer Hunter, Jack Pike, MacWet and much more. Hull Cartridge’s airgun coaches and advice team will be operating the indoor range where you can try airguns before you buy, or just have a go. Also expect to see the latest launched products from Viking Arms and Edgar Brothers. If it’s optics you want to test, then our outdoor (but undercover!) elevated Optics Viewing Area is ideal; giving you views of over a mile to test rifle scopes, binoculars, thermal imaging spotters/ scopes and night vision equipment. BASC will have a large presence at the event where their experts will be on hand to give advice on all aspects of shooting. Night Master will be demonstrating and selling its range of popular high power shooting lights, infrared illuminators and the best of night vision and thermal imaging equipment. COUNTRY FAIR The outside areas of the show celebrate the best of country life; with exhibitors, marquees, demonstrations, food and crafts – everything you would expect from a country fair. There will be numerous shows and activities for the whole family to enjoy; including clay shooting, calling competitions, gun dog demonstrations, air rifle range, flyball demonstrations, archery, shooting simulator and more...
