GIO PONTI E IL TEATRO | Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti

Nel campus di NABA, il Triennio in Scenografia ripropone un’installazione che attesta il legame di Gio Ponti con il Teatro ricostruendo una scena ripresa dallo storyboard di un adattamento cinematografico dell’opera teatrale dell’Enrico IV di Pirandello. Un meraviglioso rotolo di carta da spolvero, conservato in una scatola di legno nei Gio Ponti Archives, si sviluppa come una pellicola nella proiezione del documentario “Lo storyboard di Gio Ponti”, progetto di Francesca Molteni con la collaborazione di Salvatore Licitra, prodotto da Muse Factory of Projects, che introduce il visitatore alla ricostruzione della scena all’interno del nuovo laboratorio di Set Design nel campus di NABA. Gli studenti, guidati da Margherita Palli e dai docenti dell’Area Set Design dell’Accademia, hanno ricostruito la scena del primo episodio dell’ingresso di Bertoldo seguendo le indicazioni dello stesso Ponti, che si alternano tra descrizioni di costruzioni degli elementi di scena e appunti di regia sui movimenti della macchina da presa. Un progetto che rende evidente l’approccio interdisciplinare di NABA, con l’intento di scardinare i confini tra le discipline. Venerdì 4 aprile alle ore 11 all'interno dell'Aula G0.4 del campus di NABA una Tavola rotonda proporrà un momento di approfondimento della figura di Ponti “umanista” tra architettura, design, teatro, arte e costume, con interventi di Salvatore Licitra, Francesca Molteni, Marco Scotini, Massimo Martignoni, Alberto Bentoglio e Fabiana Giacomotti (introduzione e saluti istituzionali di Luca Poncellini e Vincenzo Cuccia). A seguire, l’inaugurazione della mostra che introdurrà il visitatore in un’anticamera nella quale sarà possibile seguire il documentario, accompagnato dall’esposizione degli arredi iconici disegnati dall’architetto e prodotti da Molteni&C, prima di poter fruire della ricostruzione della scena realizzata dagli studenti NABA, grazie alla collaborazione con Cleaf per il supporto dei materiali. Il visitatore sarà inoltre accompagnato dalla voce di Franco Branciaroli nel monologo “La Luna nel pozzo”. Un’occasione sia per il pubblico della Milano Art Week che della Milano Design Week, non solo di scoprire l’interesse di Gio Ponti per il teatro, attestato anche dalle varie pubblicazioni di critica teatrale in “Stile”, ma anche di vedere ricostruita la scena mai realizzata, seguendo le indicazioni lasciate dallo stesso architetto. Un libretto, con interventi tra gli altri di Margherita Palli e Salvatore Licitra, permetterà al pubblico di approfondire il progetto con un’intervista immaginaria realizzata dagli studenti del Biennio Specialistico in Arti Visive e Studi Curatoriali di NABA per ricostruire la figura dell’umanista Gio Ponti.

Join DMFS Darwin for a session of adrenalin and fun as you prepare to strike and knock ‘em down, or practice your aim with a game of laser tag. Meet new friends and become the champion within your group. Register before 1 April 2025 to make sure you don’t miss out. Please note that only children 6+ can take part in laser tag and all children bowling have to wear enclosed shoes. No crocs (shoes) allowed for bowling. Embracing the drama, passion and beauty of traditional Flamenco, Lágrimas de Oro plays for one unique performance only. Join us at the Palmerston Library Theatre for an intimate afternoon of dance, music and video featuring dancers from ꜟArte Flamenco! with guest guitarist/singer Javier Advani. Entitled Crying Golden Tears, this show pays tribute to the voices we have lost in our world of ꜟArte Flamenco! while celebrating the beautiful gifts they gave us and the indelible marks they left behind.
